NEW Zoeva Rose Golden Blush Palette REVIEW + SWATCHES

The new launch from Zoeva: The Rose Golden Blush Palette. Personally, I think this is wrongly named. Including a pink blush shade, a white highlight shade, and a muted brown contour shade, I would suggest that, actually, this is closer to being a contour palette. Nevertheless, I love it.

At £13, it's excellent value for money! I think that's really cheap, especially considering you get 3 products in one. The packaging is, of course, rose gold, and is nice and skinny and sleek. It's pretty, yes, but it feels almost flimsy and cardboard-y, which is disappointing. It could be a little more sturdy, I feel. The powders inside, are nice quality. Admittedly they're not as high end, but at £13, you'd expect that. Moreover, they're certainly softer and easier to blend than the average product you'd find in your local drugstore.
I am smitten with the shade Heavy Crown, which I used to contour. Being pale, this grey under-toned brown is an absolute dream for carving out my (practically non-existent) cheek bones. The actual blush shade, Palace Door, is also pretty and applies nice and opaquely without being overwhelming. It's a beautiful warm pink with a slight shimmer in it, so gives a very feminine blushing glow to your cheeks. I love it!
L-R: Palace Door, Glowing Still, Heavy Crown

However, I find the highlight shade Glowing Still applies too opaque. Although it is easy to blend, it's still too stark white on me. I have to apply it very sparingly, though it's worth baring in mind I am very pale.
Overall, I love this product, although I wish the highlight was a little more on the sheer side. It's easy enough to make work, though. To be honest, at just £13 I really can't complain and am really pleased with this purchase. You can buy it here.

Also, on Saturday I'll be posting my foundation guide. If there's anything you want to see in it -what kind of finishes are you looking for? staying power? etc - please let me know before next week! There's a poll in the sidebar or just leave a comment!
