My All Time Favourite HOLY GRAIL Beauty Products

This is a post I've wanted to do for a long time, and I'm glad I've finally done it! This is a run down of my all time favourite "holy grail" beauty products. I decided to opt for sharing with you specific products, like for concealing, setting etc. If we were going to be talking shades, we could be here a very long time!

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
I have repurchased this nearly 10 times now. For me, this concealer is unbeaten. It is so light weight, blends seamlessly, and the subtle highlight it creates is unparalleled. It's not stark, it has almost a light reflecting quality, which I am in love with.

This is one of the first high end beauty products I ever bought, and I use it nearly every day and it's still nowhere near finished. I don't even remember the last time I had to sharpen it! I don't know how it is even possible to be honest, I think it's some kind of Chanel voodoo! I love this, it's so creamy, incredibly pigmented and black. When it's on my eyes, it doesn't budge; it doesn't run or smudge at all!

Mac Fix+
I cannot live without this. I find it's incredibly useful for two purposes: firstly, I use it for applying eyeshadows by wetting the brush. And secondly, I use it as a finishing touch for my make-up, I find it just makes all of my power products 'melt' seamlessly into one, making for a much smoother, more natural finish.

Beauty Blender
This baby blends like a dream come true. This completely changed the way I apply my make-up, and I'm sure lots of people feel the same! The sponge itself is such high quality and definitely worth the price, in my opinion. I have 4 beauty blenders because I love it so much and I use it for so much; concealer, cream contour, baking, etc!

Laura Mercier Loose Powder
Before I got this for Christmas, I almost didn't believe the hype. I've used a lot of powders, and I didn't understand how this one could be special in any way. But it really is amazing! It sets my make-up so it doesn't move, and I love how, even on my pale skin, it has a beautiful, subtle illuminating property to it. 100% worth the hype.
Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder NO.10 & NO.30
I know I said I wasn't going to be talking shades, but bare with me. I use #10 as an all over powder; the name is correct, it really does give you the most gorgeous "healthy glow"! It has micro-fine - almost negligible - shimmer in it which really gives your skin a natural looking glow boost. I also use it to do the buffing technique (Youtube it - it'll change your life!). #10 matches my skin perfectly, so I bought two shades darker to use as a bronzer. #30 is the bronzing shade made in heaven for my skin tone! It's so natural looking, and the very slight shimmer in it works a charm. Us pale girls can often struggle finding bronzers that aren't too muddy, too warm or too dark. If you're struggling, I know it's expensive but the Les Beiges powders really are a staple in my make-up collection.

Nars Eye Paint "Black Valley
I love a winged liner, and my weapon of choice is often gel liner. I've used a lot of them, believe me. So many dry up so fast! But I swear, Nars have used some kind of black magic on theirs. It is so, so creamy. Even after a lot of use, having brushes plunged into it, it still has a whipped cream-y consistency. I accidentally left the lid off recently, and I love this one so much it was an instant repurchase. Although, I've had a look at the dried one, and to be perfectly honest it's the consistency of how a lot of gel liners end up like after a couple of uses... This stuff is impressive.

Nars Orgasm
This blusher is famous and with good reason. To be truthful, I don't like the way the colour looks in the packaging but it is absolutely stunning on the face. It's truly a perfect shade blusher and I believe it's universal. I can wear this blush with any look at all, it is absolutely my go-to blush. I love it so much.

MAC Studio Finish Concealer
This is my baby when it comes to concealing specific blemishes. This is my "heavy duty" concealer; although too thick to go under my eyes etc, if I have ever have a spot, this concealer's got me covered (...get it?). This stuff really conceals and it lasts a really long time.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
I've used this nearly every day and I've had this for coming up nearly two years and it's nowhere near empty. This setting spray really locks my make-up in place, it really doesn't budge! I first got this while I was still in school, and I used to always hate looking in the mirror at the end of the day because my make-up - my foundation especially - had always smudged and 'melted', and generally just looked dreadful. I remember using this setting spray for the first time, looking in the mirror before leaving school and being really blown away! I still looked like I did leaving my house! Anecdote aside, you get the point: this setting spray packs a punch. Urban Decay have a whole range of setting sprays to meet your skins needs so there's one for everyone!

Kevyn Aucoin The Sculpting Powder
I am in love with this. I will never stop loving this. I am 100%, truly devoted to this powder. It is the perfect, well pigmented, cool tone contouring shade. I don't know what I'd do without these because my face is the same shape as a football.

Too Faced Better Than Sex
Finally: mascara! I only got this around last autumn time, but it's my all time favourite mascara. It does everything: thickens, volumises, curls. Anything you want from your mascara, I promise this will do it. Plus, I kind of love the name! I like things that have names that are a bit cheeky (maybe that's why I love Nars so much!).

What are your all time favourite beauty products? I'd be really interested to know!
Thank you for reading!

  8. Mac fix+ is a must in my makeup collection, it solves the issue of poorly pigmented shadows in one quick spitz...plus I'm sure my makeup would move around my face if I didn't actually use it as a setting spray as well.
