Charlotte Tilbury Brows

As a long time devotee to Anastasia Beverly Hills, I was a little hesitant to change up the products I use to do my brows. My love of Charlotte Tilbury makeup in general and the similarities between Charlotte's Brow Lift and my trusty Anastasia Brow Definer drew me in.

I bought the Brow Lift in Cara D (the darkest shade) as well as the Legendary Brows Brow Gel in same shade. The Brow Lift's design is essentially the same as Anastasia's Brow Definer, with a spoolie on one side and the product, in a triangular shape, on the other.

I find the product smooth, but a little waxy, as contradictory as that sounds! It glides on very well and is easy to blend, but in areas of my brow with particularly thick hairs, it begins to feel a little crayon like, and starts to drag slightly. Despite the feel, however, it doesn't effect the application. It's very strange! I have to make clear though, I really, really love the formula. It feels velvet-like and it isn't excessively pigmented. The ABH Brow Definer is a lot more pigmented, but I find it a bit thicker and harder to blend. I personally prefer less colour pay off and the ability to blend and build up easily.   The result is a very naturally looking brow. Plus, it makes it suitable for both the thin and thick brow-ed among us. The slight colour pay off means lining thin brows easy, but the smooth texture makes it absolutely buildable and easy to fill thicker brows.
I have never been 100% committed to brow gels. I like them, but I don't feel the need to include them in my every day make up routine. Gels I've used in the past (e.g Benefit, Eyelure, Mac etc..) I've found far to thick and gloopy, bulkily designed and difficult to apply, or they just don't do what they claim to. Charlotte Tilbury's Legendary Brows are in a league of their own. The gel itself is very smooth, and doesn't clump at all. The best part is the spoolie. It's so teeny tiny I can actually comb through the individual hairs to get them to where I want them to be, even in the tail! I love it. This has definitely made it's way into my every day make up routine.
I highly recommend Charlotte's brow products.  The time I've spent doing my brows has been cut in half since using the Brow Lift.  Despite their high price tag, they perform a lot better than any other brow products I've tried.
Thank you for reading!
