I've been loving 3INA for a while now. The only problem was that, up until recently, it was very difficult to get hold of. Their website didn't have a shop, and the most local store was in Covent Garden in London, an hours (and very costly) train journey away. Because it's tricky to buy, I initially didn't want to post solely about the brand.
However, ASOS recently began carrying 3INA products. So I thought, hey, why not? I actually got my 3INA stash before they were sold on ASOS. My friend who lives in London, right next to Covent Garden, popped in and got them for me. ASOS is a huge website that everybody knows of, but many people might not know about the wonders of 3INA...
I'll start with what I was disappointed about, first of all. The liquid lipsticks. I am a huge fan of liquid lipsticks, and I think I have very high standards when it comes to those products (cough, thanks Anastasia). The formula is very liquidy, which makes it apply quite patchy. It is build-able, but you end up having to put so much product on to make it completely opaque that it's uncomfortable.
When my friend went to the shop, they only had 1 shade I wanted. I'm so torn about whether to buy a couple more, even if I am disappointed! What if I got the one shade with the dodgy formula? What if the rest are good? But, if they're all kind of crappy, I'm glad I didn't waste my money.
The matte lipstick, on the other hand, I was pleased with! It was very build-able, so even with the very dark, vampy shade I chose, it's not easy to make a hash of it. It has a satin feel to it with a matte finish, which I prefer. It's a lot more light weight than I expected for a matte lipstick!
I am blown away by their lip pencils. They are so soft and creamy, I'd honestly compare the formula to that of Charlotte Tilbury's Lip Cheats! They're so good, and so inexpensive at £6.50 each! I couldn't find the number of each shade on the pencil and I no longer have the boxes, but here's some swatches so you can at least get an idea of how pigmented they are:
And I've saved the best until last! The cream eyeshadows. The only one I was disappointed with is the white/silver one in shade 300. On the eyelids it looks more like a sheer gloss, whereas what I wanted was a true metallic silver. However, the other shades I picked all live up to expectations. They are super pigmented, have a high shine, super metallic finish and, what I find most impressive: they are super long wearing. I honestly prefer these cream shadows to Charlotte Tilbury's cream shadows...
There's a lot more I'm eager to try from 3INA. I'll be sure to keep you updated. I was hesitant about posting this Brand Brag on account of the fact there's so much more I want to try, but what eventually made me decide is that I have included some 3INA in a giveaway I have coming up very, very soon.
L-R: 300, 303, 311, 312, 313
