Too Faced Sweet Peach Collection | My Picks

I think it's fair enough to say that the Too Faced Sweet Peach collection has to be one of the most - if not the most - coveted collection to land in the UK from the states this year. I want to say straight off the bat that the lip oils didn't interest me at all! I'm not a glossy lip girl at heart and none of the colours were calling to me, so I gave them a miss. The highlighting palette, eyeshadow palette and blush, however, is another story.

The Papa Don't Peach blusher is beautiful! It has a hint of shimmer in it and the colour is beautiful pigmented without being overbearing. The powder is really soft so I'd definitely say it was build-able. However, it's a very light shade of peach so I would imagine on darker skin tones it'd be more like a highlight than a blush. For pale folk like myself, it's a beautiful wash of colour to bring more warmth to the face. I love it!

Ah, the eyeshadow palette. Where do I begin with this beauty? I am in love with the shade Luscious (far left in the swatch below), it is the most gorgeous, super pigmented, metallic shimmer shade. However not all of the shimmers are as pigmented as it. Not far off, but not quite. They're more of a shimmer than a glitter, if that makes sense! All of the shades have a little bit of fall out, but there's a huge amount of colour payoff for every single shade so that is to be expected.

I think it's a perfect palette for every day, there's some beautiful neutral mattes if you're going very natural and some shimmers for if you're feeling fancy. All the colours are so beautiful, but I swatched my favourites:
And finally, the glow palette! You really can't go wrong with this product. It includes a stunning pale peach highlight, a blush and a very pale bronzer. The pigmentation is incredible! I love the choice of colours, but again I do feel like it's orientated a little more towards fair skin. The bronzer wouldn't show up on darker complexions, I would suggest. I personally am in love with this palette, though.
I don't have any complaints about any of the three items I picked up, I truly love them all. I love the collection as a whole, I think the theme is adorable! And of course the packaging; Too Faced have really pulled out all the stops and I think other brands are going to have a tough time living up to the packaging of this collection. It's completely adorable without being tacky, in my opinion!
More importantly, the quality is amazing. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. All of the shades are beautifully pigmented and the colour selection is - for me at least - a dream come true.

Will you be making any purchases from this beautiful peachy line?

  5. This collection is stunning! I can understand you not being fussed with the lip oils. I'm so excited to finally be able to get the eyeshadow palette. I have a gift card for Christmas that will cover most of the cost. I've just got to save the little extra and then I can order it - I'm so excited! Xx
