Pixi by Petra Glow Products | Review & Swatches | +GIVEAWAY!

I've wanted to try the Pixi by Petra highlighting blushes ever since I heard Tati Westbrook (A.K.A "Glamlifeguru" on Youtube) mention them (in a monthly favourites, I think?) I saw on M&S online that Pixi had released glow kits, which comprised of a liquid highlighter, the blush and a lip gloss, all for £20. The blush on its own is £18 so it was a no brainer. However, I'm not really a lip gloss girl and I already have way to many than I'll probably ever use, so I'm giving them away. You can enter at the bottom of this post!

I am over the moon with the powder highlights! You get a blush side - which is mostly matte with only a tiny hint of shimmer in it - and a highlight side which is a pure shimmer. I must admit they don't swatch well at all. They look very powdery; but they apply to the face with a brush absolutely beautifully! Using the shimmer side alone creates a stunning, beaming highlight. Swirl your brush into both sides and you get a shimmery blush-highlight duo! I love them.

L-R: Peach Honey, Rose Gold
I was slightly disappointed in the Glow Boosters. First of all, they are pretty but even worse for swatching! The consistency is very thin so it's hard to blend it out to anything that the camera will pick up. However, the thin consistency makes it feel really nice on the face because it's ultra light weight and doesn't feel sticky at all.
The colours - Peach Gold and Rose Gold - when blended out really don't look any different, so you definitely don't need both.  They blend out to a very natural look, they aren't shimmery but dewy. They're nice to use as an illuminating primer, but I also like to apply it to the tops of my cheek bones with a damp beauty blender. Topped with the powder highlighter makes for a really pretty look!
Finally, the lip glosses. As I've explained, I'm just not a lip gloss girl. I want them to go to somewhere they'll be loved! So, if you fancy two new lip glosses (nude with a hint of shimmer and pink-mauve), just enter via the Rafflecopter app below!

Overall I'm really glad I bought the glow kits and would recommend picking one up. They're really good value and good quality for the price.

Don't forget I'm giving away over £400's worth of beauty products! Head over to this post to enter if you haven't already.
