Mad Beauty Picks & Review

My focus of late has been on independent Beauty brands, and as such a selection of products from Mad Beauty made its way to my door.
Mad Beauty is a British beauty brand, with a focus on design to "make cosmetics fun". This ethos speaks absolute volumes through their products! I am obsessed with their array of quirky goodies, which have taken inspiration from the likes vintage cereals as well as beloved Disney characters. For example:

Tiger Head band
I know this probably seems like such a small thing, but getting a headband has changed my beauty routine. When applying make up, I can blend accurately into the hair line and when I'm doing a face mask or washing my face, I can keep my hair out of the way. They're something really worth getting! My old headband was made from material that was a little scratchy, was too tight and even gave me headaches. This one is super soft, has a lot of stretch and is very comfortable to wear. Plus, it's got tiger ears, it's adorable!

I don't actually have a bath in my house (sad times, I know!) but after smelling this, you know what? I'm gonna be selfish and keep it, and use it as a shower gel. The fragrance is Honey and Orange Blossom and it smells so good. I don't usually like citrus scented products for the body because it makes me feel like I'm putting washing up liquid all over myself (anybody else? or is that just me being weird?) but the orange part of this isn't overpowering, the honey is very obvious and very sweet, and is complimented by a floral fragrance with a hint of orange. Yum!
I love a good sheet mask! The Animasks from Mad Beauty are infused with different ingredients to do different things. I got the Panda mask, which is infused with rose water, which has a calming effect on the skin and achieves a healthy glow. I noticed that this face mask made my skin really soft!  It didn't break me out at all, and was a pleasure to use. It felt very soothing.
These are so cute! I love the vintage theme and the adorable way the emery boards make an image! I love little finishing touches like this. From now on these are definitely a handbag staple of mine. As somebody who likes to keep my nails looking nice, I always like to have a nail file on me to immediately sort out chips and brakes. It's so handy that these come in mini size, they're perfect for on the go.
I am a self confessed lip balm junkie and have hoards of them scattered around my home, my handbags, my car and my boyfriends house. Basically anywhere I go! I love the little vintage pot this balm comes in, as well as the scent; I love the lemon and mandarin combo! This particular balm is super, and makes my lips very soft and hydrated.
Alice in Wonderland Bag
Mad Beauty have loads of Disney make up bags, which is a Disney lover/make up addicts dream! I have the Alice in Wonderland bag, but there's also Dumbo, Mickey Mouse, and Cinderella versions available!
1970s Retro Compact Mirror
Mad Beauty has a lot of handbag essentials, with this mirror being included. It's a really good size, about the size of my palm, so I can carry it in my handbag fuss free.
Finally, Mad Beauty also sent me a 70's inspired Fruit Loops lip balm, but as I'm using the Lemon and Mandarin balm, I'm popping this into a giveaway. Watch this space!
As I mentioned initially, I'm big on supporting independent British beauty brands and I'm thrilled to have found Mad Beauty! Did I mention they're award winning? They have a great selection of products that are all so creative and so unique, and good value too! What did you think of the fab little selection of goodies I got?
They sell loads of stuff on their website, from quirky make up brushes to hand sanitizers. I highly recommend checking them out. Here's my mini wish list:

Mad Beauty sent me these products to review, but this is no way influences my opinion of them. I contacted the brand in search of independent British beauty.

Although I do probably need to buy another one (I have a soap and glory one from one of their Christmas gift sets that I'm using but it doesn't really fit my huge head properly haha!) x x x
