Pai Skincare Everyday Hero Collection Review

I have been interested in Pai skincare for a long time, attracted to the brand by their passionate approach to using "good" ingredients and sensitive skin. They have a huge range of products and I was unsure where to start, so when I came across the Everyday Hero Collection, I thought it was a perfect opportunity to delve into Pai.

You get one as part of this set, but can buy a pack of 3 for just £12 (here). I love it, up until now I didn't quite get the point of special face cloths made by skincare companies, I was quite happy with my flannels from Primark. But Pai has totally converted me. I'm obsessed. On one side you have an almost ruffled texture, and on the other side it's totally smooth. Perfect for giving your face a good clean. Go and buy you're pack of 3, you won't regret it.

I really, really like this cleanser except one thing: the smell. It smells like nettles. On the plus side, you can obviously tell it's made from natural ingredients; but on the down side, it smells like nettles. Smell aside, it is very hydrating. I love the way it makes my skin feel: fresh, re-hydrated, supple and clean. You really can't go wrong with this cleanser, especially as part of an AM routine. It's so refreshing! I'll definitely repurchase this.

I am enjoying this moisturiser, but it hasn't wowed me, if you know what I mean. It has a beautiful fragrance to it, feels very rich and absorbs quickly, but I haven't noticed a dramatic change in the appearance and feel of my skin overall.

This is my last step in my skincare routine. I am absolutely obsessed with it. I adore the way it makes my skin look; it has an orange tint to it, which when blended out onto my face, becomes a very subtle warm glow that perks up the appearance of your skin, giving you a lit-from-within, slightly bronzed look. Even once the oil has fully absorbed this glow remains. It sinks in quickly, and leaves my skin feeling so hydrated and comforted. The texture is really soft, and doesn't look greasy (even before it's completely absorbed). It smells incredible, too! I honestly can't recommend this enough!

You know what? I can't wait to try more of Pai's skincare. When browsing their website I always end up with an entire basket full. What have you tried (or want to try) from Pai?

  8. I have never heard of Pai but as you've said the Rosehip Oil gives almost a glow, I may be swayed to considering a purchase one day. My skin is so dull and desperately needs a pick me up!

  32. I found that day cream too rich but tried their thistle and geranium version which was great-aunt lighter and absorbs easier. Leaves the skin smooth and not greasy although is not quite moisturising enough for harsh winter time.

  49. I kind of want to have a sniff of the cleanser now just to find out what nettles smell like ha ha, can’t say that I’ve ever detected a scent on them but for some reason I have a strange feeling that it might be quite nice. I’m so bad with skincare and I really could do with upping my game as I’ve for some reason come out in about a million mountains (pesky acne) since having my little girl.
