What's In My Weekend Travel Bag

Myself and my boyfriend have taken a little trip to Bournemouth Thursday morning 'til Saturday night (by the time this is published, we'll probably already be there!) So, technically, this is my mid-week travel bag, but "my Thursday to Saturday travel bag" just isn't as catchy, is it?

I'm not going to go into loads of detail about what make up I'm taking because it's too much, but I think I packed very sensibly when it comes to skin and hair care.

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner
I love Aussie hair care products - they make my hair so bouncy and shiny! When I came across these in travel size for less than £2 each, I thought they'd be perfect to take away just for a couple of nights. There's plenty in these miniatures for 3 or 4 showers!

Bloomtown Botanicals Infused Oil "The Woods"*
This roll-on fragrance is perfect for a weekend away. I can't be without perfume, but my ordinary bottles would take up far too much room. The Woods from Bloomtown Botanicals is a beautiful scent (with cedar and bergamot) and is just the right size for popping into my handbag to take away with me. Bloomtown's Infused Oils are less than a fiver, but with code "MILLIE20" you can get 20% off, too! If you're lucky enough to be heading off for a holiday this summer, make sure you pick one of these fragrances up to take with you, they're the perfect travel size!

DHC Face Wash Powder*
A powder face wash is definitely an interesting concept! But it's so useful for travelling. Powders are much easier to clean up than liquids, in the event of a spillage. For a full review on this product, be sure to check out this post.

First Aid Beauty First Aid Radiance Pads 10 Pack
FAB Radiance Pads contain glycolic acid which exfoliate the skin, and I use them every single day - twice a day - as an acid toner. However, these usually come in a big tub of 60 which is far too big and bulky to take away with me, especially just for a couple of nights. I managed to get my hands on a travel sized pack of 10 as part of a free gift when ordering FAB products. Perfect for my little mid week getaway!

Pai Chamomile & Rosehip Day Cream Travel Size
I am really enjoying this moisturiser, it smells delicious and keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day. As I got it as part of Pai's Everyday Heroes set (which there'll be a review on very soon) it is travel size, so I am bringing this along to Bournemouth with me. It's nice and small and slim so is perfect for packing away and saving room.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil Travel Size
I love DHC's Deep Cleansing Oil. Not only does it clean your skin but it is also a very effective make up remover. So, as the saying goes: two birds one stone! I will massage this onto my face to dissolve the make up I'm wearing, rinse it off and then finish with the powder cleanser. Ta-da! Squeaky clean with minimal luggage.
