Skincare Line Up: PINK

Welcome to the first post of my new series of skincare line ups! I am a skincare junkie (just in case you haven't already noticed) and, even though this isn't my daily skincare routine, I thought putting together a skincare 'line up' to showcase what skincare products I'm currently loving was a good idea.

The colour of the packaging is obviously largely irrelevant to the product itself, but I thought it was a convenient way to choose which products to write about - a 'theme', if you will.

Step One: Cleansing & Toning
To cleanse, my pick is the Bioderma Foaming Gel Cleanser*. It really reminds me the (Malin + Goetz) Grapefruit Foaming Cleanser, which I reviewed here, in that it is a foaming cleanser but it is formulated to not strip, dehydrate or leave a film on your skin. It doesn't foam up as such but rather lather, and efficiently cleanses and removes all traces of make up.
To tone, I use the Nuxe Gentle Toning Lotion, which is a really nice addition to my cleansing routine, particularly when my skin is on the sensitive side. This is a great option if you're looking for a gentle toner! Finally, a spritz of L'Occitane's Pivoine Sublime Perfecting Mist

Step Two: Moisturiser, Serum & Oil
My serum of choice is Aurelia's Revitalise & Glow Serum*, which a fabulous, milky textured serum filled to the brim with powerful probiotics and essential oils. Here is my full review. For moisturiser, I use Caudalie's Moisturizing Sorbet. This has a super lightweight, fluffy texture and is really hydrating. It sinks into the skin beautifully, leaving your skin feeling really soft and looking refreshed.
To top off my daily skincare routine I always use a facial oil, and one of my favourites also happens to be pink - perfect for this post! - the Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil*. This is more like a dry oil; it doesn't look wet or greasy once it's applied. If you have oily skin but are still into face oils for the nourishment aspect, this one is a great pick. Plus, if my skin is extra dry, nigh on scale like, I'll apply Bobbi Brown's Extra Repair Balm. I'll be reaching for this a lot come November/December time!

Step Three: Masks
For masks, I use the Vichy Double Glow Glycolic Peel Mask*, I won't talk too much about that here because, a) I've reviewed it here, when it first came out, and, b) I'll get onto glycolic acid momentarily!
When my skin is dehydrated, lacklustre, or just plain and simply needs a little of TLC, I always reach for my Bobbi Brown Skin Nourish Mask. I picked up this little gem that time I dropped £1000 at Bobbi Brown (see this post if you're interested in seeing what else I picked up), along with other Bobbi Brown skincare goodies, let me know if one of the 'line ups' you'd like to see is Bobbi Brown skincare!

Step Four: Night Time
As for my night time skincare products, I'd opt for my Vichy Idealia Peeling*, which is essentially a toner with a high concentration of glycolic acid (but low enough to still be safe for everyday use, of course). Glycolic acid is an excellent exfoliant, as it removes the outer layer of dead skin cells to reveal radiant, renewed skin. To finish the day, I use Aurelia's Cell Repair Night Oil; it has a very thick consistency but is instantly ultra hydrating but also works overnight to repair any damaged skin. I wrote a full review here.
