Pixi Lip Picks

Pixi is fast becoming one of my favourite beauty brands. I've been reaching for their products a tonne lately, especially their lip products. Check out my round up of what I've been loving:

Nourishing Lip Polish
I use this as every day, it's the perfect prep step before lipstick, but also is great as a nourishing lip balm. It contains shea butter, primrose oils, apricot and sweet almond, which is a fantastic combination and makes my lips feel so soft and smooth! This duo function product exfoliates and nourishes the lips. It has a 'massage applicator' - it reminds me of a hair brush - that I finds flakes off any unsightly patches of dry skin on my lips. It's also designed to stimulate circulation to create a plumped effect. I definitely notice the difference but, not in the sense my lips are suddenly worthy of Kylie Jenner's snapchat, but that the fine crinkles have disappeared and their appearance is overall smoother and plumper.

Matte Lustre Lipsticks

These are my current obsession. The formula is the softest I've ever experienced. I love the texture, it's like a thinly whipped formula. They are like velvet to the touch, feel feather light on the lips and look matte as matte can be. They don't suck the hydration out of your lips.  They are so comfortable to wear, and the colour lasts really well. Even after the plush, velvet appearance has faded after a few hours, the colour lasts much like a tint. I'm really impressed! I love these!

Shea Butter Lip Balm
Who doesn't love a good lip balm? As far as lip balms go, I highly recommend these! They tick all the boxes for me -  reasonably priced, nourishing, soft and, to top it all off, they add a stunning wash of colour.

Top to bottom:
Matte Lustre Plum Berry, Rose Naturelle, Bitten Rose
Balm Sweet Peach, Pixi Pink, Pink Raspberry
