Vichy Dermablend Colour Correctors Review

I love a good bit of colour correcting, it's a great technique to have in your arsenal if you like a really flawless, polished look, and don't mind adding in the extra step or two to get there.

I recently got hold of these new colour correctors from Vichy.  I've got the shades Apricot* and Green*. Apricot neutralises dark areas and pigmentation, and green corrects unwanted redness.
I think these are both incredibly effective. I didn't have any particularly red areas at the time of testing that could be photographed easily (sorry!) - but I did use it around my nose where there's hormonal redness, and I definitely saw a difference - there was absolutely no redness visible, but the green cream blended out to looking like a pale flesh tone.

I was actually most impressed by the shade Apricot. I do have dark pinkish discolouration on my under eye area, and I found patting it on - even though these are a lot thinner and lighter in consistency as a concealer -  had the same effect that, to be honest, I'd expect from the likes of MAC Studio Finish Concealer, or Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. That's a massive result from just a colour corrector! Take a look at the before and after photos below, although do bare in mind that I have a DSLR which picks up every detail - so do forgive the stray brow hairs etc.
The texture of both of these is beautiful, I'd actually say I prefer it to some high end colour correctors I've used which are double the price of these, which can be found on the high street. They're so creamy and blend out beautifully. You can see in the picture above that you can't really see where the product begins and ends, they practically melt into the skin. They feel really comfortable, and when you layer foundation/concealer over them, they don't look cake-y or feel too heavy.
