December Favourites

A quick mish-mash of favourites to share with you, from what I was loving in December.

Getting this new pair of hair straighteners has really invigorated my love for styling my hair. I got really lazy with it for quite some time, but I'm enjoying straightening my hair again! As to be expected with ghds, they heat up really quickly and get the job done nice and quickly!

If you don't follow me on Instagram, you might not know that I visited Brussels last month - I picked up this almond and honey lip balm from a cute shop called Dille and Kamille, which reminded me of a downsized Ikea. It was less than 5 euros so I really wish I'd picked up another pot, because I love it! It's such a good lip balm, it makes my lips feel really smooth but not greasy.

The original Skin Smoothing Cream is one of my favourites, and I'm loving it's revamped older sister! It now has Hydramesh technology ("a long chain of Hyaluronic Acid Complex") which ensures hydration for 48 hours. It's an absolute god send for dry skin, and the rich, fluffy texture of the medium weight of moisturiser feels so nourishing too! It still contains my favourite ingredients from the original, Mallow, Cucumber and Arnica. If you're on the look out for a new moisturiser and have very dry skin, do look into this one!

I don't usually like to spend this much money on bath and shower products but oooft, this is worth every penny! It feels so luxurious, not to be dramatic, but it makes a shower seem more than just a shower; more than just a regular, hop in, shampoo hair, hop out. It feels more like a treat! The scent is just beautiful and I love the way it makes my skin feel, so soft!
I'm loving the original product, which I can't find in stock anywhere; you can now buy it in three shades. It's my favourite primer; the original is a beautiful pearlescent champagne shade, and it's incredibly flattering. It adds a beautiful soft glow - it's perfect to mix in with foundation too.

This is my current every day concealer, it's very thin, so you don't get that disconnect in texture of foundation and concealer, like you usually do with traditional, thicker concealers. But this does an excellent job of concealing dark circles, and I find it doesn't crease.

This is my brow product of choice at the moment, and I'm a big fan! The tip is nice and slim so you can mimic hairs precisely, and the formula has a nice slip to it, so it applies softly and blends out really well with the spool, but it's got just enough firmness to it so you have a lot of control.

This has been my go-to every day lip lately. It's a pretty muted pink shade, it's a really nice neutral tone so it's not too warm or too grey. The shade is really flattering, and the formula is even more forgiving. It's not too dry, the finish is more like a demi matte, but it's ever so comfortable! I really want to pick up more shades.

Thanks for reading!
