Côte Brasserie Breakfast Formule

Côte Brasserie invited me and my boyfriend to visit their Maidstone restaurant to try out their Breakfast Formule - their delicious cooked Breakfast set menu.
We made our way to Maidstone, to find the restaurant just off the main high street near Fremlin Walk.   The exterior was so pretty, I just got back from Paris a couple of weeks ago and it was totally reminiscent of actually walking around Les Gobelins.  We were made to feel instantly welcome when we walked in - we'd booked a table and they were expecting us.
We took our seat by the window and took a look at the Breakfast Formule, which our waiter explained is much better value than ordering a breakfast on it's own (which is usually around £8, he said) - with the Breakfast Formule, you get a glass of orange or apple juice, tea or coffee, and a cooked breakfast - for just £9.95.
We started with a latte each (it was 10am on a Sunday, we needed caffeine!), I had OJ and Sam had apple juice. Sam opted for Eggs Benedict and I chose the French Breakfast (scrambled egg, bacon and mushroom on a toasted brioche) which they were more than happy to change for me - I'd asked for it without black pudding - sorry, 'boudin noir'! Our breakfasts did not disappoint! Sam thoroughly enjoyed his Eggs Benedict, and the French Breakfast was definitely a good choice; it was the best scrambled egg I've ever eaten! Everything was so yummy.
We felt looked after from start to finish, the staff made sure we were always happy, and were very attentive without being intrusive. After breakfast, we ordered another coffee while we chatted, the restaurant was nice and relaxing, it was really pleasant to just sit and enjoy!

We both left totally stuffed (which, trust me, when it comes to Sam, is a difficult feat!), the food was beautiful, staff were super friendly, and the restaurant was all round lovely. We can't wait to go again and would highly recommend Côte Brasserie as a spot for breakfast.

  1. Breakfast food is by far the best! I always cook myself egg on toast with a sausage or hash brown for any meal of the day. It's great that they include both a hot and cold drink in the deal, I definitely opt for both as I always feel like having just a hot drink with hot food makes me overheat! The decor is beautiful and that bacon looks right up my street, lovely and crispy!

  2. I love breakfast out, it always feels so nice to sit back and relax with that second cup of coffee. The exterior looks beautiful and the decor is lovely too. Breakfast for £9.95 sounds like a great deal x
