A Look inside the December Roccabox

What makes a cosy Winter morning even better? Getting the December Roccabox* delivered straight to my doorstep.

Barney helping me with unboxing...
I'm really into subscription boxes at the moment, it's like having a present delivered! I love the surprise, and as soon as I have the latest box in my hand I can't wait to delve in. Take a look at what goodies I received in my Roccabox this month:

Steve Laurent Lip Gloss in 'Peaches'
An indie make up pick, my Roccabox contained a lip gloss in the shade 'Peaches', which is a pretty peachy (of course!) pink nude.
Yeti & Fox Good Night Great Day
I'd never heard of this brand before, or even any product like it: a miracle hangover cure. You take two capsules with water before you start drinking alcohol, and then take another before you go to sleep. In theory, you won't wake up with a hangover. This sounds really interesting and I'll definitely be giving it a go next time I'm having a drink.

Dr Botanicals Superfood Regenerating Sleeping Mask
This is an interesting one! An overnight face mask/night cream which, by the sounds of the ingredients, is an excellent hydrator. It contains glycerin, which attracts moisture to the surface of the skin; Sweet almond oil, an occlusive ingredient (meaning it locks moisture into the skin); Shea butter and grape seed oil soften and hydrate the skin. I'm interested to give this a try! However it does contain natural fragrance (linalool, limonene, citric acid etc) which can be problematic, especially if your skin is sensitive, so this is worth bearing in mind.
Phillip Kingsley Body Building Shampoo
I haven't used any Phillip Kingsley haircare products (although I am obsessed with their brushes) so I'm excited to give this a try as well. It supposed to give you fuller, thicker looking hair while taming frizz. I'll test it out, and get back to you!

Bowe Organics Lash Oil
This is the product I was most excited about! This year I suffered with chronic conjunctivitis for over 6 months, which entailed me pulling out a lot of my lashes due to the severe discomfort my entire eye was in. Whilst thankfully the damage isn't too visible, my lashes could definitely do with some TLC. This product contains castor oil which is known to hydrate lashes, jojoba to moisturise, soften and protect the hair follicle; plus Vitamin E to protect them as well. Yes please!
Luna by Luna Eyeshadow
I also received a mono eyeshadow in a pretty burnt bronze shade called 'Celeste'. Warm shimmery pigments are packed into a smooth, buttery formula - I'm really excited by this! I'd never heard of the brand either, I'm happy I've been introduced to it.

This is my first every Roccabox and I'm really impressed. 5 out of 6 products were full sized! The 'mini' version (shampoo) isn't mini at all. A Roccabox subscription is only £10 a month (you can get a one month subscription too, if you want to just give one a go before committing!) which is incredible value: the full sized products in this box alone are worth in total well over £50! This may possibly the best value subscription box I've come across so far, actually. I highly recommend it!
