Another review that's a little overdue. It's been sitting in my drafts for a while! So, without further ado, here's my review on Chanel's Rouge Coco Stylo.
I naturally seem to have very dry lips (even though whenever I'm not wearing lipstick I'm slathering on lip balm practically constantly), so I really love this product. It's SO creamy. It almost feels like a serum, as weird as that may sound, but it glides on so smoothly and feels a lot thinner than a cream. The formula is so lightweight that it doesn't grab onto any dry skin on my lips.
I love, love, LOVE the finish. It's so shiny and glossy without having that thick, sticky vaseline-y look about it. I think this is the final straw in converting me from a matte lip to a glossy lip lover. I am in love with the finish. Below I'm wearing the shade Script, and as you can see it's very high shine.
Here is a closer up swatch:
The only thing I don't like about this is it isn't long wearing at all. I found it didn't last more than two hours, unfortunately. I do think that this lipstick is super summer appropriate because it's so light and glossy. The shade Script is so pretty and summery, too.
I highly, highly recommend these! More so if you have dry lips because it is just super comfortable to wear. I'm definitely going to be picking up a few more shades! Check out the Rouge Coco Stylo here. I've got my eye on Histoire, a bright red. I plan on purchasing it whilst I'm away on holiday soon, which you'll find out more about in upcoming posts!
