August Favourites

Happy September! Summer is finally coming to an end. I know I'm in a minority when I say I'm happy about that, but I'm just not a fan of the heat. The other day I posted - If you haven't read it already - my month in senses, and now here's my round up of products I've been loving this August in general.

Chanel Rouge Allure Rouge Ingenue
Part of the Chanel Le Rouge Collection No.1, I have been loving Chanel lipstick in Rouge Ingenue. Honestly, I could list every item from the collection in my favourites, but this lipstick stands out to me because it was the very first item I bought from the new launch. It's just a perfect nude, and I love the satin finish. It's very wearable and would compliment a fresh, everyday makeup look as well as a bolder look. It's a very universal lipstick.
Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Fluid & Estee Lauder Cushion Stick Foundation
I usually like to discuss products individually but I'm mentioning these two as a pair because using them together is currently my favourite base (and probably my favourite of all time). Chanel's Les Beiges Healthy Glow Fluid is like a tinted primer that can also be worn alone. It has colour correcting properties and literally gives you a "healthy glow". It also has SPF in it, so you can understand why it's perfect for summer time. Topped with the new Estee Lauder Cushion Stick Foundation (review here) makes for a dewy, youthful and naturally looking finish, that's perfectly light weight and long wearing.

Caudalie Grape Water
Like I said - I hate the heat. For a much needed cool down throughout the day, I spritz Caudalie's Grape Water across my face. It's super refreshing, and perfect to chuck in your handbag.

Estee Edit Flash Illuminator Fluid Powder
The Flash Illuminator Fluid Powder in Heat is such a pretty, pale pink highlight with a hint of champagne shimmer, that I've really fallen in love with recently. It's very complimentary to my cool, pale skin tone. It's silky soft and really easy to blend and build up, so it's suitable for a subtle highlight but can also be layered to be really seen-from-space dramatic.
Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow Brush
I've been really loving cream shadows recently, but rather than packing them on to a metallic finish, I like to blend them out to be sheer, shimmery and glossy. Bobbi Brown's eyeshadow brush is perfect for doing this, it is the perfect balance between firm and fluffy. It creates such a summer look that is very natural, and goes really well with dewy skin.

3INA Cream Eyeshadows
One of the cream shadows I've been loving to use the Bobbi Brown brush with are by 3INA. In August, I visited 3INA's  Covent Garden store, I didn't have a lot of money on me so I wasn't able to get a lot, but I made a bee line to The Cream Shadow. I picked up the shades 312 and 313; I was really surprised at the price! At £8.95 each these are super affordable, but so high quality! I love the formula of these, they are super smooth and creamy. The colour pigmentation in them is really nice so they're great for adding some colour to your eye makeup. I am literally so in love with these, I can't wait to head back to 3INA and buy a tonne of their products.

Modern Renaissance
Who hasn't been loving the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette? The shades are so incredibly beautiful, and you get a really great mix of transition shades, crease shades, mattes and shimmers. There's a huge amount of looks in this palette, I've been using it pretty much every day.
