NEW Ciate X Chloe Morello Beauty Haul Collection

I know it's only November, but I've already started my Christmas shopping. Whilst I was shopping for my family, I heard that voice in the back of my head whisper, "treat yo' self", and I 'accidentally' bought myself the Ciate X Chloe Morello Beauty Haul collection, that's new for Holiday 2016.
I was on the fence because I have no idea who Chloe Morello is, but I'm really glad I did bought it in the end. Whilst looking for links to include in this post, it appears to have sold out literally everywhere in the UK, except here on the Ciate official website. It's a beautiful collection and, being limited edition, I'm really not surprised how quickly it's sold.

In the set, you get a mini Wonderland Mascara. I've been a long time fan of their Triple Shot Mascara, so I had high expectations for this. The Wonderland Mascara builds absolutely beautifully. My lashes looked really long and volumised, with the brush doing a great job at separating the lashes so they don't look clumpy at all. However, I did find that after about 3-4 hours of wear, it started to crumble a little. It didn't go all over my face, but I could feel that the mascara was there and that it was starting to dry out a little. I was really impressed with the results though despite this little hiccup, I got a lot of compliments when I wore it - even being asked if I was wearing falsies! I'd say it's likely I'll pick up a full size version when I've finished this one.

You also get a mini version of their liquid lipstick in fan favourite shade, Pin Up. Despite being a mini version, you do get a decent amount of product. I actually already owned this, so I'll be popping this new one into the pile for my next giveaway! It's a really beautiful shade; a perfect pink mauve. It's sold out everywhere individually as well.

Thirdly, the star of the show: Pretty, Fun and Fearless eyeshadow palette. First of all, I am in love with the purple and pink floral packaging! It's so cute. Inside is 15 "best selling Ciate London shades as well as a selection of shadows carefully curated by Chloe herself"*. The eyeshadow selection is perfection. You get a great mix of cool tones and warm tones, mattes and shimmers. This palette is perfect for everybody. It actually reminds me of the cult favourite Holy Grail Palette by Violet Voss, so I'd suggest it's a great British accessible dupe**.
The texture and pigmentation is amazing. I've never actually tried any Ciate eyeshadows before this palette, but I will definitely be getting more now. They're incredibly soft and buttery, have a high colour payoff and excellent pigmentation without being excessively powdery.

The finishing touch to this set is that it comes in a high quality leather, navy blue pouch with gold lettering. I always love it when brands have products with final touches like this. Just gives it that little bit of extra something.

Thanks for reading.

**I was thinking of doing a series on my blog all about dupes for US cult beauty products that are easily accessible here in the UK. I'm eager to hear your thoughts, so please let me know if this is something you'd be interested in!
