Random Lifestyle Haul

First off, I'd like to preface this post by apologising for the absence of a post yesterday. I generally post on Mondays rather than Tuesdays, however, yesterday I had still yet to take a header image, and by the time I got round to it it was dark! Moving on, you know that meme that's like, "when you get paid and you start buying random shit"? I am literally the epitome of that meme.
But I did get a few nice bits and bobs, and I haven't posted anything 'lifestyle' in a while, so I thought I'd share!
Acrylic Tower
I am thrilled with this purchase. I moved into my current home 2 years ago and the decor is very old fashioned. Every wall and ceiling is bloody Artex'd! So all of my own possessions at the moment have mostly been for practicality rather than looks. My beauty room will hopefully be being renovated this year, so I'm starting to get bits and bobs that are intended to actually look nice with the finished product once it's done! If you read my post on my Make Up Storage, you'll know that it's mostly acrylic, so I thought this would go well. It's replacing an old black plastic chest of drawers. They're hideous and currently storing half burnt candles, so I'll be glad to be rid of it to say the least...

Block Calendar
I loved the gold embossed floral pattern and I thought this would look uber cute in my make up room!  It was also reduced to £4, so...you know, I kinda' had to. It's by Eccolo who sell really cool stationary, so I'm really grateful that I found this brand through this whimsical impulse buy.

Paper Clips
I bought these because the cliche blogger inside me just had to. I thought they were adorable and would look good in photos. That's literally the only reason I bought them. (They're by  Enchante Accessories, if anybody's interested).
Another thing I bought just for photos .... I got this from B&Ms. It was only like £1, and it has a pretty slogan on it, so it's justifiable.

One of my resolutions from 2017 - which you can find in this post - was to start keeping a journal again because I find it therapeutic. I really liked this large, leather bound, pistachio coloured notebook and I thought it'd be perfect for journalling. It's by Fringe Studio

His & Hers Glasses
Another B&Ms bargain! I just thought these would be sweet for me and my boyfriend to use! They were reduced to £1.40, which was pretty persuasive, too.

Glass Water Bottle
This was the impulse buy to end all impulse buys... there was a whole bunch of glass water bottles in a colour co-ordinated display in TK maxx, and I'm a sucker for colour co-ordination. I opted for the grey though, despite the rainbow of bottles, because I kind of liked the minimalism aspect. I bought it  ultimately because I am aiming to drink more water, and I thought having a styling water bottle would encourage that, as well as being handy to be able to refill it and pop it in the fridge. It's by the brand Bino.

Don't forget I'm giving away over £400's worth of beauty products! Head over to this post to enter if you haven't already.
