I think, from personal experience when I first started wearing make up, that removing make up is an often overlooked part of a skincare routine, but it's very important. In the past few years where I've been ritually removing make up, I've gone through a lot of different products.
This Clinique Take the Day Off duo is the best I've used by far. I'll start with the oil:
I was struggling to find a decent eye make up remover for what seemed like forever! I wear eyeliner every day I wear make up and I don't wear false eyelashes so I'm always mascara-d to the max! Up until I used this oil - no matter how hard I scrubbed at my eyelids with any of the removers/cleansers I've used before - I always woke up with black smudges around my eyes, even if the area looked clean when I went to bed. I first found the oil in a value set with a mascara and pep start, and I fell in love.
Now onto the balm:

Now this looks really good! But.....I'm terrible at removing my make up all of the time! It's so bad I know! I do try! Lol! Xo
ReplyDeleteI tried this in a travel size before & I agree, this stuff is sooo good, I love clinique's skincare range :).

Mascara & Maltesers
I've also realized (too late?) that good skin care really matters and removing ALL of the makeup.
ReplyDeleteThis oil for eye makeup sounds great, I can't take my waterproof eyeliner with anything, there's always something left... I'll definitely check it out.
