Skincare Empties | What Will I Repurchase?

Don't you just hate it when a bunch of skincare products run out all at once? Especially if they're you're holy grails. It can make for such an expensive order! Keep reading to find out what I've just ran out of, and what - if any - I'll be repurchasing.

Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm & Oil
These are absolute staples into my skincare routine. I cringe at the thought of how I took my make up off prior to purchasing these! They're so effective and actually feel like skin care rather than just solely a make up remover. I wrote a full review on this duo here
Would I repurchase? Yes - I always repurchase these whenever I notice I'm running low, I can't be without either!

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads
These are still fairly new to my skincare routine, but still managed to make it into last months favourites. I've gone through this whole tub of 60 pads fairly quickly; I've been using this religiously twice daily and have noticed a huge difference in the clarity, radiance (duh!) and overall improvement in the evenness in my skin tone.
Would I repurchase? Already have!

Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate
In my last product empties I mentioned that I'd gone through a ridiculous amount of these, with this bottle being the latest of many. It's enriched with squalane which my skin adores, and I find it's great at helping the skin hydrate and repair.
Would I repurchase? Actually no, not this time. I really am not exaggerating when I say I've gone through about ten bottles. I've been loyal to this product for a long time, but I think I'm going to give it a break and give my skincare routine a little shake up (which there'll be a post on soon!)

L'Occitane Sublime Perfecting Moisturiser
I reviewed the whole Sublime Perfecting range nearly a year ago here, and I've been using the moisturiser for a good 3 years. I've gone through countless tubs of the stuff! It's got an amazing smoothing property that blurs imperfections, as well as hydrates all day long.
Would I repurchase? Not this time. I do love this stuff and I'm glad I know I love it, so I can always go back to it. However after 3 years, I'm going to at least try to shake it up a bit.

Caudalie Glycolic Peel & Instant Detox Mask
These were both travel sizes, but I got a good 5 uses out of them so they're really good value. I love both of these. The gylocolic peel is an excellent exfoliator to achieve a brighter complexion. The Instant Detox mask is a clay mask that immediately pulls the junk out of your skin, it visibly grabs onto your pores. It's crazy.
Would I repurchase? Not yet because I have other clay masks, such as the one mentioned below, the clay mask from Vichy (review here) as well as a couple on their way to me from a couple of independent British companies!

Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask
I won a bunch of the ridiculously expensive Omorovicza skincare products from Love Me Beauty UK at the beginning of the year, and I fell in love with this. It's £60 so it's not cheap by any means, but it's filled with clay from mineral infused muds from Hungary and holy crap it works like a charm. It instantly clears my skin, and I mean that. My skin looks dramatically brighter and I swear, after letting this sit on my face for 15 minutes any blemishes have shrunk. I'm addicted to this.
Would I repurchase? Despite the high price tag, yes yes yes!

Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask
Another gylcolic peel! This one has a higher acid concentration that the one from Caudalie so is less suited for sensitive skin but definitely packs more of a punch. This is a lot more effective for when my skin is particularly lacklustre (such as after a night out) and is also more effective long term.
Would I repurchase? I'm still undecided. Since buying this I've introduced a lot more acid into my everyday skincare routine. Although it is really effective, there's a lot more glycolic acid in my day to day routine and I think using this as well would be overkill.

Copper Amino Isolate Serum
I reviewed Niod's range of Dermal Science skincare (which this serum is part of) here, so you'll know already I think it's pretty great! It really helped my skin at a time that it wasn't doing so well (I'd just come off of contraception), so I highly recommend this if your skin is going through a bad patch.
Would I repurchase? I don't like to go overboard with serums, especially now that I'm using a lot of acid in my skincare, and I'm currently using another of Niod's Dermal Science range, the Hyaluronic Complex and Elemental Herbology's Cell Nourish (review here) as well as others. I will be repurchasing this at some point in the future, but not immediately.

Speaking of introducing more acids into my skincare...
Philosophy Microdelivery Peel
Ok, ok, so this isn't new. This is the third tub of this I've been through. It's packed with salicylic acid which is excellent for combating breakouts. This mask is my main exfoliating product and I'd use it around twice a week.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

Korres Wild Rose Peeling Mask
It's a rarity on this blog you'll see an individual product reviewed, I aim to review entire product lines or focus on one particular brand. If it's reviewed on it's own, it means I've got a lot to say on it! This mask is amazing, and you can read me rave about it here, but to summarise: it's packed with AHAs, stings like a bitch, but leaves your skin smooth, poreless and flawless!
Would I repurchase? I already have - and one for the lucky winner of my upcoming giveaway! Watch this space! ;-)

I'll be doing a post very soon all about my total skincare revamp. I've been doing a lot of research into a lot of products and I'm ready to have a good splurge on a brand new skincare regimen.

    1. I'm currently using the Aurelia night oil, it's nice in other ways but not having the same healing effects. I've noticed when pimples go the marks take a lot longer to heal/fade. Next on my list is the Estee Lauder night repair serum so I'm going to give that a go first! x

  10. I love the look of the peel mask.

  11. I don't always go out buying full products first I look around for some testers because I need to know what is good for my skin expecially having eczema . I hardly get it on my face but I do get very dry skin where I need to keep it moisturized. So my top tip is try before u buy some of these expensive creams are pricy so ask for a sample if they have them in stock .

  12. Great review, thank you

  13. Have you tried the Marks & Spencers Absolute Sleep Cream which was a sell-out success in 2016 and is a great find. Read what Woman & Home say about it:

  20. Everything I use is either Clarins or Clinique and I always replace them as they run out but I've never tried a clay mask before so I'll definitely be trying the Caudalie Instant Detox Mask.

  29. Love all things Clinique! Will definitely be popping out to get this cleansing balm after this!

  30. It's always great to hear of products which have been used for a period of time - it's a good test of effectiveness if someone sticks with them (even if a change is then tried).
