Product Empties | October 2017

I've been collecting empty bottles for well over a couple of months now and it's got to a point now where I have enough to actually talk about.  Keep reading to find out what I've used up and what I will (and won't!) be repurchasing.

Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask
This is my absolute favourite glycolic peel mask, and I mentioned it back in my Pink Skincare Line Up.  Vichy reached out to me to introduce a new product of theirs, and I politely mentioned that I'd just ran out of the glycolic peel mask. Sure enough they sent me a new one in the post with the other product to try out! Aren't they lovely? Seriously, I love this stuff (and Vichy generally)!

Korres Wild Rose Peeling Mask
I've been through three of these masks now, but this will be my last one. I found it worked at targeting dull skin, pigmentation and rough texture up until a point, then it couldn't do anymore. It's a good product that I do recommend, but I felt after three of them I needed to try something new.

Bliss That's Incredi-Peel Glycolic Pads, 6 pack
Another glycolic acid product - are you seeing a theme here? I mentioned this product more in depth when I talked about my Breakout Skincare Line Up. Without me even mentioning to the brand/PR that I already used and loved this product, they sent me a box of 30 of these, which, coincidentally, I was about to drop £40 on. Thank you Bliss! Seriously, these are great. I use a retinol every other night and on 'non-retinol nights', I always use these to acid tone. They're wonderful, seriously.

Aesop Control Gel
Ah, Aesop's Control Gel. My essential product for combatting pesky break outs. I repurchased before this one was even fully used up. Needs must, after all...

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
My holy grail make up remover. Can't live without. Did I repurchase? Well, it's a no-brainer really...

Clinique Take The Day Off Make Up Remover
See above. I use this as my eye make up remover. I usually buy the duo when I see Clinique has an offer on, free gifts and what have you.

Lancome Bi-Facil Eye Make Up Remover
I liked this but I did find it irritated my eyes a little. The Clinique option (above) is much more gentle.  So I used it all up and enjoyed it, but ultimately, I reverted back to my Clinique TTDO ways..
Niod Multi Molecular Hyaluronic Complex, 30ml
I really enjoyed this and I decided not to repurchase initially. However when my skin broke out, I realised that my skin was always at it's best when I used this in combination with the Copper Amino Acid Isolate Serum. So ultimately, yes, I did repurchase. I bought the smaller 15ml bottle though because it came in a set (with the Copper serum and a face mask) that was really fantastic value (shout out to QVC!).

First Aid Beauty Radiance Pads, 60 tub & travel pack
Clearly I love these because this is about the fifth tub I've been through, as well as a travel pack! These are really great but I've not repurchased as in place of these I've been using ...

Pixi Glow Tonic,  full & travel size bottle
Yep, I've gone through two of these as well! I bought the travel size initially as a tester and I loved it, so when that ran out I went out and bought the full size, which has served me well! However I'm not repurchasing just yet because I've just ordered a very elusive acid toner that is only available in America, which you'll see in a blog post very soon!

Elemental Herbology Cell Nourish Radiance Serum
I liked this, but not enough to repurchase, to be honest. You can read my full review here.

NYX HD Concealer
This is probably one of my favourite drugstore concealers, and I think it's a really good dupe for my all time favourite, the Nars Creamy Concealer. However, I recently bought two of the Nars concealers (gotta stock up) so there really isn't any point in my repurchasing - just yet, at least. But if you're in the market for a new concealer and you're on a budget, this is only £6 and I really enjoyed it!

Cover FX Custom Cover Drops
I loved this foundation and I mentioned it way back in my July favourites. I actually ran out not long after that post and it took a lot of will power not to re-buy straight away. However I know I was using my tanned shade so I'm going to wait another month or so and get colour matched for my extra pale 'winter shade'.

Charlotte Tilbury Brow Lift
This is my absolute favourite, every day brow product. I repurchased this straight away!

Anastasia Brow Wiz
This ran out during Summer and I resisted repurchasing until last week! I needed to get my basket up on Beauty Bay to qualify for free delivery (spend £3 on delivery, or an extra £15 to get it for free? Logic.) To be fair, this is another favourite brow product and I always use it when I'm going for a no make up make up look and want natural, feathery brows.

Jouer Powder Highlight Citrine
Probably my favourite highlighter, I use it all the times and also regularly for photo shoots. This actually wasn't finished up, it smashed. I did try to salvage it but to no avail. Not sure how it broke because I'm always careful with my things! It was well used though and I'd hit pan, which probably made it extra fragile. Annoying, but I did repurchase. Actually, my boyfriend did, because I cried when it broke and he felt sorry for me.
