September Favourites

It's October, meaning it's officially Blogtober! I have taken on the challenge of posting every single day this month. If you're as excited about Autumn as I am, you may want to make sure you've taken a peek at my giveaway!

I've handpicked my Autumn essentials and put them together in a fall inspired bundle, and I'm giving it away! Fancy entering? Find out how here. Now that it's Blogtober, there's a new option to comment on a Blogtober post. In other words, you can get an extra entry everyday!

Anyway, onto the favourites...

Smashbox Photo Finish Iconic Primer Stick
As the name would suggest, this is Smashbox's iconic photo finish primer now as a stick. I've got to say I prefer the stick because there's no need to blend it in, just a few swipes and you're primed, powerless and ready for make up application. Not only that, but it's also a lot more practical for travelling. Smashbox's photo finish primer is one of the best for minimising the appearance of pores, as well as shine. It mattifies without dehydrating or clinging to dry patches. I love it! Highly recommend.

Kiehls Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution
I've been using this serum as a means to target stubborn pigmentation. It contains "concentrated C" (a.k.a vitamin C) which is excellent at fading unsightly dark marks. Having been using it every day as well as most nights, I've definitely noticed a difference in my pigmentation so I'd highly recommend this! The formula is fantastic, it's literally like water, so perfect for wear under make up and for layering with other skincare.

Bobbi Brown New York City Palette
I got this image from Nordstrom because no photograph I took did this beautiful palette justice.
I hesitated about including this or not because it's a now sold out limited edition product, so it's never coming back. However I've be lying if I said I hadn't been using it everyday. The three matte shades, Cream, Birch and Espresso, are ideal for creating a casual, everyday smokey eye. They layer and blend beautifully and, of course, with this palette being carefully designed by the genius that is Bobbi Brown (back when she owned the company - *sob*) the blush shade Tawny compliments the eyeshadows beautifully.

Bobbi Brown Loose Powder
I bought this back when I dropped a huge £1000 at Bobbi Brown. In one go. No, I'm not kidding. Check out that haul here. I must have neglected it until recently because I've fallen head over heels in love with it. It creates the most beautiful soft matte, flawless finish. I got the shade white which is amazing at baking because it leaves a really effective yet subtle highlight. If you're on the lookout for a new powder, I highly recommend this one.

Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick Driver's Seat
This lipstick has absolutely been my latest obsession. It's a gorgeous burnt raspberry that's perfecting for transitioning from Summer brights to Autumn mauves. I love the formula too, it lasts all day and is so plush and comfortable whilst still achieving a perfect matte finish.
