My Spring/Summer Fragrance Wish List*

New seasons often feels akin to a sort of fresh start to some people. As the weather changes, your wardrobe might get changed up; your skincare routine might be over hauled; and your fragrance collection might need a new addition or two.

I am definitely one of those people that likes to sort of, mix things up a bit, when the season changes. Here's some fragrances that are perfect for Spring that I'm currently lusting after.

Everything about this screams Spring doesn't it? From the packaging to the name! This fragrance is "intensely green and fresh" and, "celebrates the joy and energy of youth". This reinvention of Gucci Bloom "blends the subtle musky tones of galbanum leaves and the delicate spiciness of cassis buds with the blooming floral notes of the original Gucci Bloom"
L'Occitane has a lot of beautiful fragrances, but a couple in particular are really calling my name. Cherry Blossom is floral and fruity, with notes of freesia, cherry and lily of the valley.
Housed in a gorgeous bottle, this fragrances supposedly "encapsulates the spirit of a woman". Quite aptly, the fragrance is reminiscent of "a mix of softness and strength", combining intense oak with sweet cherry plumb and freesia.
I am a huge fan of the original, but it's quite musky and spicy, and quite autumnal in my mind. I'm intrigued by this new addition to the Black Opium family, which supposedly enhances the original fragrance with citrus and pear notes: the "iconic accord of black coffee, white flowers and vanilla is electrified by dazzling freshness"
First and foremost, the honeycomb bottle is just stunning! I need to get myself to a Guerlain counter ASAP because this perfume sounds beautiful, with base notes of bergamot, citrus and Calabrian green gold, and notes of passion fruit, aqua and ylang ylang.
This has been on my wish list ever since it came out. There's something about the minimalistic bottle with the Tiffany blue that so luxurious and appealing to me. I haven't had a chance to get a tester of this yet, but it's, "a sparkling floral musk scent", with, "top notes of vibrant vert de mandarine...iris flower....dries down to a sensual finish on the skin with nuances of patchouli enveloped in subtle musky notes"
This currently sits at the very top of my wish list. There's something about it that really gives me Summer vibes. It's inspired by sunrise over Provence, with notes of bergamot, pink pepper, white musk and tonic bean.
Doesn't get much more fancy than Cartier, does it?! This fragrance was made with a liberated, passionate woman in mind. It's a "feline floral" scent (La Panthere means Panther) with notes of gardenia, musk and tiare flower.
A fragrance worthy of an aquatic goddess, this Eau de Parfum is, "a sensual, salty vanilla fragrance with an intriguing alchemy of aquatic flowers and amber depths".
Another top-of-the-wishlist fragrance is this beauty from Miu Miu. It embodies the phrase, 'girls just wanna have fun'. It "sparkles with contemporary energy and has a soft floral juice created from lily of the valley and cassis buds, tightly wrapped in notes of sophisticated musk". I don't know about anybody else, but that's the kind of perfume lingo that really speaks to me.
11. Narcisco Rodriguez For Her Eau de Parfum
This fragrance is very musky, reflecting the designer's passion for "exotic" Egyptian musk. It's, "elegant, sensual, mysterious and voluptuous" with layers of feminine and sensual scents.
This is my utmost favourite on this list but I doubt I'll ever own it as it comes in at a whopping £230. It's spicy, yet also floral and feminine (although all Armani Prive perfumes are unisex), and the fragrance is incredibly intense. This perfume, "is a majestic ode to the essence of rose" with "spicy" notes of Saffron that develop with patchouli and dark woods, with "sensual" golden amber at the base. I had a sample of this that spilled in my handbag and at first I was upset because I thought that 3ml would be the only way I could own this fragrance, but I get a whiff of it every time I get my purse out and it's so good I'm not even mad about it.
